Marshall Monitor III ANC headphone specifications

According to Marshall, its new Monitor III ANC wireless headphones are designed for users seeking both premium sound quality and long-lasting comfort. One of the most striking features of the Monitor III ANC is its battery life. The headphones promise up to 70 hours of playtime on a single charge when Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is on and up to 100 hours of playtime when it is off. Furthermore, the headphones fully recharge in just 2.5 hours via USB-C.

Marshall says the active noise-cancelling technology in the new Monitor III ANC has been substantially upgraded compared to the previous model. The new headphones constantly monitor and measure surrounding noise to ensure that unwanted sounds are effectively blocked, allowing users to fully immerse themselves in their music. When situational awareness is required, a transparency mode is also available, making it easy to switch between complete isolation and awareness of the surrounding environment.

Marshall states that the Monitor III ANC delivers Marshall’s signature sound, balancing deep bass with crisp mids and highs to deliver an immersive audio experience. The headphones also offer soundstage spatial audio, which extends sound beyond the listener’s head, providing a more immersive experience, making it feel as if the music is playing live in the room.

The headphones are equipped with Adaptive Loudness technology, which automatically adjusts the sound based on the user’s environment. In terms of design, the Monitor III ANC headphones are foldable and lightweight, carried in their luxurious hard case, which is made of red velvet to resemble a guitar case. The materials used, including a self-healing leather texture, enhance the tactile experience, and the signature brass logo completes the iconic Marshall look. Comfort has also been prioritized, with redesigned cushions and a headband that ensures a secure fit even during prolonged use.

The headphones also feature a customisable M-button that allows users to personalise EQ settings, access voice assistants, and control Spotify playback. A multi-directional control knob further enhances the user experience, offering intuitive control over volume and track selection. The headphones are also ready for Bluetooth LE audio, providing future-proof audio-sharing possibilities with AuraCast technology.

“The Monitor III ANC focuses on what’s essential for great performance. We’ve reduced weight, made the cushions as soft as clouds and completely redesigned the headband for long-lasting comfort,” said Kenny Wong, Marshall’s design director. “From an experience standpoint, this is as close as possible to a Marshall product when it comes to touch and feel. They’re extremely tactile with the self-healing leather texture and that unmistakable brass logo.”
