Marshal Major V Review: Rich Audio, Comfortable Design and Long Battery Life
Marshal Major V Signature offers martial sound – Trable emphasized and highlighted mids – as well as long battery life and compact design. This is certainly a lack of some characteristics, but still at the price point, due to its sound quality, it is a good option.

- There is a lack of some smart features
Here in India Today Tech, we have reviewed many martial products including earbuds and speakers in the last several months. While our choice and dislikes about these products were, one thing we loved fully was that Marshall was perfect for its signature audio style, offered balanced audio which was slightly bigger on the trable and mids Was. This bass is not heavy, unless you decided to customize the sound signature through equalizer in the fellow app. But we prefer default martial sound and the audio quality of various martial equipment in all these reviews has never been a matter of concern for us. It is the same as I review the new marshal Major We On-Ear Headphone.
Major V continues to offer that signature martial sound. I completely dig it. And I also dig a compact design – in fact, this time this is the design that steals the show, getting 10/10 solid. Then there is a long battery life, which is another positive thing about these compartments. But some features are missing. In particular, I miss ANC (active noise cancellation).
For some, and especially those who care about sound quality only, missing ANC may not be a big deal. However, Marshal Major V is towards the prisier, with a price of Rs 14,999. And in this segment and on these prices, ANC is expected, if not all, at least most consumers.
But, but, but. While ANC is something I definitely prefer to see in Major V, even without it, the device has impressed me- such as a lot of, and for many reasons.
Functional design, very comfort
Marshal Major V comes in three color options: black, brown and cream. In this review, I used black variants. Now, I like headphones for large and more sophisticated sound experience that they provide, but at the same time, I do not enjoy wearing heavy equipment with large ear cups on the sides. For me, they look like some type of space headgier that makes me look funny – in other words, not a fan.
Perhaps this is why I love Major V design absolutely. It is not a nearby headphone. Instead, it is an on-year. Like other martial products, Major V Signature is like the design elements of the marshal such as leatherrt finish and logo between the two ear cups. Being an on-age design, ear cups do not fully cover your ears, but they have comfortable cushions that also provide comfort during long use. The headband is also quite comfortable.

Ear cups are not large, and they bend in a fairly compact form factor that you can easily tuck inside your bag in a corner. Or in a large pocket in a jacket, as I was often able to do.
Another part I like is the way the work controls the work. Controls are simple: an M-button that can be customized according to your needs, and a nub-like joystick that makes switching super easy between different controls. If you have read our review of Marshal Villain II, I mentioned that joystick control was an impressive and a smart option, but it was also a little difficult to use due to its placement. However, the joystick sits slightly more on the major V, making it relatively easy to control. I liked it very much, because it is not only easy-to-use, but also minimal. I am not a fan of a headphone with 4-5 control buttons and touchpads. Here, Joystick does all this – sports, break, volume up and down, everything is easy to reach and control everything.
Among all, I am impressed by design. I have the only grip that it is better to see more durability, given that the headphones are compact and easy to carry. This makes them susceptible to accidental splashes and dust. Additionally, there is no bag for storage, so I took Marshall V in my bag with other items that make it weak for dust and scratches. A little more durability and a storage bag would have made it better.

Signature sound but no ANC
I love martial devices for his voice, and Major V offered me the same signature martial sound – which is well balanced between mids, climbing and high. By default, the signature of the sound martial is set on the audio profile, which is slightly triple-thorough. However, you can accommodate it using the equalizer in the app. These headphones are not bass-water, but provide enough bass that will allow you to enjoy your Punjabi or Indian hit. In my use I found the sound quality attractive and pleasant and even high amounts of audio remained firm. It is not scary on a high-legend and when you bring the volume level down it is not muffed.
While sound quality is excellent, Bluetooth connectivity is also reliable. I never faced any issue during call or video call, whether at home or while traveling.

However, I missed out on the cancellation of active noise. I do a lot and prefer headphones or earbuds that can offer some forms of cancellation, preferably active noise cancellation. Although in some cases the cancellation of passive noise – buds fit the ears so well, or earcops fully attached and welcome the seal ears -. Marshal V does not have ANC. And its on-age design means that it does not offer to cancel any significant passive noise. This strictly makes these headphones an indoor gadget.
Another bit that I miss with these headphones is some smart-numb. Nowadays, headphones in this price section come with some smart features. The most useful of them is auto poses and auto play, which are managed through some sensors. Marshal V does not have. There is no big deal, but some users can miss it if they are used for some earbuds or headphones that offer this feature.
Long battery life
Battery Life Marshal is another attraction of Major V. While the company promises 100+ hours of wireless platim in my use, where I used the headphones during commutes daily for 3-4 hours and during work-I lasted for about four days, which is quite impressive. Extended battery life is also partially due to lack of ANC, which allows the device to save electricity. But as far as the platmum was concerned, Major V ensured that I need no need to choose the charger often.
Charging is embroiled with decency. With the USB-C port, the device fully charge in about three hours. Additionally, there is an option for wireless charging, which is a good addition. The right ear cup is easily standing on a wireless charger for quick charging.

Marshal Major V Review: Should you buy it?
Major V will not disappoint you if you want to experience Marshall’s signature sound and a premium headphone offering balanced audio. In fact, with your compact design and long battery life, it almost provides the right hearing experience.
However, if you like to cancel the bass heavy songs or noise, then there is something that you want especially in your headphone – especially after spending it – then you may want to consider other options. The major appeal of Marshal V is that it is in sound: the best sound for most styles under sublime and of course Rs 20,000. And it distributes it on all elegant and unique, which is also a big plus for it. Marshal V matters a lot, looking to get a luxurious pair of headphones for audiofiles, but without spending a truck of money. For everyone else, this feature is slightly lower on the set.
