A married couple shares their heartwarming love story on how to go on a date pop culture in dangerThey finally got married on set, as revealed in a new teaser. Ahead of the January 8 trivia game show episode, Greer McCabe and Sarah Bauer revealed how their shared passion for trivia led to more than just a high score.
The pair first met in 2012 during auditions for Jeopardy! National College Championship. Both were selected to compete in the show. Sarah advanced to the quarterfinals with $5,000. At the time, she was a law student at Indiana University, while Greer was studying law at Stanford University.
When they were put together on the show, sparks flew and their relationship quickly grew stronger. After finishing college, Greer got a job in Washington, DC, and Sarah joined him soon after. Trivia has since become a hallmark of their relationship, leading to countless memorable date nights including attending bar trivia events.

More than a decade since their first appearance on the show, Sara and Greer are set to return to the stage as co-contestants on Pop Culture Jeopardy! Sarah expressed her delight at such a comeback, saying, “It wasn’t in the realm of possibility that we could go ahead and play again. It’s like lightning striking twice to be able to play again.”
The pair are joined by their close friend Brad Lufkin as the third member of their team. He shared his excitement, saying, “Being on a game show, especially ‘Jeopardy!’ It was one of those side quests in life that I always wanted to complete, and it was so much fun to play a new version of the game that we all grew up watching and continue to watch.”
