Directors Chidambaram and Jeethu Madhavan have officially announced a project, marking their collaboration for the first time. The yet-to-be-named film will be directed by Manjummel Boys director Chidambaram, while the story is written by Jeethu.
Announcing their partnership on social media, Chidambaram expressed his enthusiasm for the project. The film, which is considered a high-budget venture, is being financed by KVN Productions, the same production house funding toxicStarring Yash, and the reported final film of Thalapathy Vijay, tentatively titled Thalapathy 69.

The film, which is scheduled to release in 2025, has not yet revealed details about its casting. However, the crew includes notable names: Shyju Khalid as the cinematographer, Sushin Shyam who composed the music track and score, and Vivek Harshan who handled the editing.

Manjummel Boys tells the story of a group of friends who travel to the infamous Devil’s Kitchen (better known as Guna Caves) in Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu. During their journey, one of them falls and gets trapped inside the caves. The film depicts their struggle to survive this ordeal and their efforts to escape the dangerous situation.
On the other hand, passionStarring Fahadh Faasil in the lead role, the film is an action comedy about a goon and three youngsters who seek his help. Featuring Fahadh in a commanding role, the film also featured Hipster, Mithun Jai Shankar, Roshan Shanavas, Sajin Gopu, Midhutti, Mansoor Ali Khan and many more in pivotal roles.
