There is a distinct similarity between Korean and Indian food. Can you guess? Well, it is his hobby to sprinkle spice on everything. But what if Koreans ate pure, authentic Indian food? A viral Instagram video gives us a delightful glimpse of this culinary exchange. In the video, an Indian man introduced Puri and potato-pea curry to his Korean sister-in-law. As she brought a plate full of puffed-up, golden-brown puris to the table, her sister-in-law asked curiously, “What is this?” The man replied “Complete.” The woman danced a little happily and said, “Looks delicious!”

Along with the puris, there was also Aloo-Matar Ki Sabzi on the table, a classic Indian dish made with potatoes and green peas. As she prepared to dive in, she hesitantly asked, “How will I eat this?” The man explained the art of enjoying puri – instructing him to break off a piece and scoop out some vegetable. “It’s good, good!” She screamed after the bite. The video took a turn when the man shared that he ate five puris before switching to Korean staple kimchi and rice. The caption reads, “My Korean family eats Indian food.”
