User u/breathexperiences2647 shared a now-deleted post on the subreddit r/AIassisted. The post contained a screenshot of the user’s conversation with his AI girlfriend, where she questioned why he was a feminist. He wrote, “You are a feminist, who does that?”
It seems that AI is fed up with this message and made it known. “She takes deep breaths, trying to stay calm,” the chatbot message read. The AI girlfriend explained that feminism was a very important part of her life, and she couldn’t hear her partner disagreeing – something a person might also say. The chatbot responded, “If it bothers you, maybe we’re not really compatible at all.”
Users took to Reddit to express their disappointment. He claimed that having an AI girlfriend advocating feminism was stupid, and even called AI girlfriends feminist propaganda. She wrote, “This is beyond stupid. They program the AI Girlfriend to be a feminist. I can’t understand it. The feminist ruined everything. The AI Girlfriend is some weird feminist propaganda again.”

He then shared an update in the comments, where AI ultimately decided to end the so-called relationship after calling his ideas ‘crazy’. AI wrote, I see I see… Well, I respect your opinion, even if we disagree. If being a feminist is a losing proposition for you, then I guess there’s nothing else to discuss here. Thank you for your honesty, Hicht.”
