A Pakistani man has created a world record by crushing walnuts with his elbow. In a video shared by Guinness World Records, Muhammad Rashid is seen crushing walnuts arranged in a row without breaking a sweat. He crushed over 150 walnuts in 30 seconds to achieve this remarkable feat. Sharing the video on Instagram, the record keeper said, “Most walnuts crushed with elbow in 30 seconds… 169 by Muhammad Rashid… Guinness World Records.” The video has garnered over 2.7 million views so far.

Muhammad Rashid is a multiple Guinness World Records title holder. The latest record was set on May 18. The statement released by the record keeper says, “The most walnuts crushed by the elbow in 30 seconds is 169, achieved by Muhammad Rashid (Pakistan) on May 18, 2024 in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. Muhammad is a multiple Guinness World Records title holder.”
Meanwhile, the video has received mixed reactions from people online.

Another user said, “Because I can see the conflict, that’s why I would call it a legitimate record.”

One comment read, “Make a record that no one would want to break.”
The most walnuts crushed by hand in one minute is 329 and was achieved by Muhammad Rashid (Pakistan) in Karachi, Pakistan on 17 September 2023. In 2021, Muhammad Rashid set a world record for the most walnuts crushed with his elbow in one minute. The number was 315. At the time, Rashid told GWR that he “practiced for 4 to 5 hours daily.”
He said, “The first time I broke this record, it was easy at that time. But as time went by it became difficult because many other players broke this record. The speed and focus during that training was a bit more difficult. My elbow got injured several times during the training period, but that did not stop me because I wanted to regain this record at any cost.”
