Alappuzha Gymkhana director Khalid Rahman was recently seen in an interview, where he recalled his experience of working with Mammooty in UNDA. The director told Galata Plus about the same and how he was telling the film to the senior actor.
In the interview, Khalid Rahman said, “Mmmuka is a very great person, he is always respectable towards us. Mamuty sir was actually trapped in the UNDA because all the people around him, in which the actor and technicians were under 30 years old. He always looked like a poor partner because he is the only one who is a big.”
The director said how Mammooty always had to stay up to his level while interacting with him. Khalid Rahman highlighted that the actor was always eager to feel frightened by anyone as a megastar.
Saying with the director that Mammooty made him comfortable as a filmmaker, Khalid Rahman further said, “Mammuka described a script was very easy for me to describe a script.”
For the director’s upcoming work, Khalid Rahman will be seen in the lead role for the film Alappuzha Gymkhana. The film that presents Premalu fame Naslen in the lead role, is an upcoming age sports comedy that focuses on the story of a gang of students who are struggling to find a college.
To achieve this, students decide to use sports quota to learn boxing and go to their desired college. How do they manage to become a boxer and what is next that creates the entirety of the film. The upcoming flick is slapped to hit a large screen on 10 April 2025.
On the other hand, Mammooty is also ready to hit a big screen with the film Bazuka this year. Dino Dennis’s directorial game thriller introduced Gautham Vasudev Menon as a co-Leide and will also kill the big screen on 10 April. In addition, actor will also appear in films like Kalakamwal and temporarily MMMN.
