Former actress Mamta Kulkarni has announced her resignation from the post of Maha Mandaleshwar of Kinnar Akhara, saying that this decision has been taken voluntarily and in proper mental state. He clarified that his resignation, which will be effective from January 27, 2026, is part of his personal spiritual journey and is not linked to any controversy or disagreement within the Akhara.

In a statement shared on Instagram, Mamta Kulkarni clarified that there is no conflict behind her decision. He specifically mentioned that he has no complaints against Dr. Acharya Lakshmi Narayan Tripathi and expressed his gratitude for the honor and position given to him.

She wrote, “I Mamta Mukund Kulkarni am in a completely mental state, I am resigning from the post of Maha Mandaleshwar of Kinnar Akhara by 27th January 2026. There is no problem in giving respect to Dr. Acharya Lakshmi Narayan Tripathi.”

Explaining her thought process further, Mamata said that her spiritual understanding now demands a different path. He said, “It is just that my spiritual knowledge will flow like a J. Krishna idol. Truth does not need clothes or stature.”

He also talked about his guru Sri Chaitanya Gangagiri Nath and said that he never accepted formal titles. “My guru Sri Chaitanya Gangagiri Nath accepted no one,” he wrote, explaining that this philosophy deeply influenced his decision.

Reflecting on his spiritual life, Mamta Kulkarni shared that she intends to To continue his spiritual practice quietly, without any official designation. She said, “I have lived a life of 25 years of aesthetics and will practice silence and share my knowledge whenever and wherever needed, regardless of any party or any specific group or like-minded people.”
