40 days after the birth of his daughter, ‘Kabi Khushi Kabi Gum’ fame Malvika Raj has announced the child’s name. A day after the auspicious occasion of Dussehra, the actor revealed that she and her husband, Pranav Bagga, had named their daughter ‘Mahara’.

On Friday, the actor first shared dream photos to introduce Maharaja to the world. He shared a glimpse of the naming ceremony, where both parents matched ivory floral organizations.

The post included this message: “40 days of Mahara. On the auspicious day of Dussehra, we officially named our baby girl!

Malavika was also seen wearing a necklace showing her daughter’s name, while her dress named Maharat on Maharat. The photos, although not showing the child’s face, were painted in a floral headband and wrapped in a soft swaddle.

After his announcement, there was a checkpoint of messages congratulating with well -wishers and fans.

Pranavas proposed in Kapadosia, Turkey, dated the couple for about ten years. She married in Goa in November 2023.

Earlier this year, in May, Malavika and Pranava announced that they were expecting their first child. He shared the news with a picture of himself conducting a positive pregnancy test, wearing a white shirt and gray cap.

The couple announced the birth of Mahara on 23 August 2025 through another Instagram post. It had a pink-theme poster with words, “Pink bow, small toes and a love that overflows. Welcome to the world, baby girl. 23.08.2025. Malavika and Pranav (SIC).”

On the professional front, Malavika took a break for her studies after early fame and later returned to films. He was recently seen in the Crime-Thriller Series ‘Swipe Crime’.
