The Malta International Arts Festival returns to music, dance, theater and visual performance at reputed places on 13-22 June, featuring both international and local talents in international cultural settings.

Malta International Arts Festival (Miaf) organized by Malta, organized by Malta, will delight the audience from 13 to 22 June with a rich program of cultural performance and exhibitions in the islands.

A diverse line-up at reputed places

According to The Times of Malta, this year’s festival offers a 10-day festival of music, dance, theater and visual art. The events will be in historical places such as Titro Manoel, Valeta underground and curious palace in Vitorosa. Local and international artists will share the stage in an associate performance of creative expression.

Closing the festival on June 13, Boy Il-quogical, built by Tetru Malta and Giving or late productions, will take the audience on a unique journey through various local BOI clubs with the experience of its touring theater.

Musical tribute

On 14 June, the Ravel-Sati concert will honor French composer Maurice Ravel and Eric Sati with the selection of the iconic chamber pieces. Meanwhile, the acclaimed dance series Mad -Music & Dance gave returns on 15–16 June, with three new choreographers working from Zenkis, Solima and Akiho.

Unique performance

Between 16 and 18 June, PAN-Flout’s virtuous Babin and Italian artist Rentato Cadel Valeta will present an intimate concert inside the 500-year-old underground kund, which actually offers a immersion music experience.

Culture of culture

From 16 to 22 June, the exhibition at Ta ‘Nenu Artisan Bakery will explore the traditions of making global bread, supplemented by interactive FTIRA-building workshops. On 17–18 June, Young Creative in Motion will spot the new choreograph set for live music from eight local dance schools.

The closing highlights include a sand art and Pak Sham on 19 June, a caravagio-inspired madrigal concert on 20 June, and on 21 June Malta Philharmonic orchestra’s performance between heaven and hell. The festival ends on 22 June with a boundary-burning dance performance with Il Mio Corporate (Aao) UN Monte.
