Sonakshi Sinha’s ‘Heeramandi’ co-star Manisha Koirala has congratulated her on her wedding. The veteran actress shared a picture of Sonakshi and Zaheer and wrote a heartwarming message for the couple, sending them her best wishes.

Manisha and Sonakshi recently worked in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film ‘Heeramandi’ in which Manisha played the role of Mallika while Sonakshi played the dual role of Faridan and Rehana.

Set against the backdrop of the Indian independence movement against British rule in the 1940s, ‘Heera Mandi’ is based on the lives of prostitutes in Lahore’s red-light district, Heera Mandi.

The series debuted on Netflix on May 1, 2024, and was later renewed for a second season.
