Malayalam film director Omar Lulu accused of drugging and sexually assaulting victim on pretext of marriage

‘Oru Adaar Love’ director Omar Lulu, who is making headlines in the film industry, is under investigation for sexual harassment allegations. According to a report, once again the victim has filed new complaints against the filmmaker.

According to a report by Matribhoomi, Omar Lulu sexually abused the victim by mixing MDMA in her drink. Moreover, the report also states that the director also falsely promised to marry the victim by hiding his existing marriage.

Director Omar Lulu had recently filed a plea for anticipatory bail, following which the complainant made fresh remarks and even mentioned that the director had promised to marry her. Moreover, the alleged victim also stated how she was assaulted after being promised a role in his upcoming film.

Furthermore, the complainant also said in his statement that the director has a history of drug abuse and he had allegedly tried to settle the case out of court. According to the complainant, the director involved his driver and a friend to settle the deal out of court. The complainant even said that he has proof of the phone conversation, which can be produced in court.

The victim also argued that the director has a lot of influence and he can use it to obstruct or tamper with witnesses and evidence. According to initial reports, the director had contested the charges after seeking bail.

As per his previous statements, the director alleged that the case filed against him was for extorting money by blackmailing. Moreover, he also claimed that the victim and he lived in the same apartment in 2022 and had only consensual relations.
