After making her Bollywood debut with Yudhra, actress Malavika Mohanan is now preparing to enter the Telugu film industry. In an exclusive conversation with India Today Digital, he explained how debuting with Prabhas’ film couldn’t have been a better opportunity. She also talked about the level of stardom male superstars enjoy in the South and whether it boosts the careers of female actors.

talking about Raja SaabOn her next film, which is said to be a horror-comedy, Malavika said, “This is my Telugu debut, and I waited for it for a long time. I wanted the right film to come to step into the industry. I think Nothing gets better than Prabhas sir. It’s a very light-hearted film and will appeal to the universal audience. We are still shooting for it next year. “Should be releasing in April. I’m really looking forward to it.”

From Dulquer Salmaan to Vijay Sethupathi, Dhanush and Vikram, Malavika Mohanan has been linked with all the top male actors. These stars enjoy huge popularity in their states, due to which their films are doing good business. It has also been seen how even good films usually do not have meaty roles for female actors. Agreeing with this, the actor shared that only well-written roles can give longevity to his career and not the buzz created by these stars.
