Xiaomi is ready for a major launch event on 22 May, where the company is expected to unveil several new products, including its in-house mobile chip-xring 01. The phenomenon will also be the beginning of Xiaomi 15S Pro Smartphone, Pad 7 Ultra Tablet, and the company’s first electric SUV, Yu7. Xiaomi confirmed the incident through an official post WeiboSharing the description of the launch, which is scheduled to take place in China at the local time (IST) in China.

The upcoming launch event has special significance as it marks the 15 -year anniversary of Xiaomi. To celebrate milestone, the company is going out with a series of new launch – including Xring 01 Soc (Self-developed mobile chip), 15S Pro (Heir of 15 Pro), Pad 7 Ultra (Pad 7 joined in Android Tablet) and U7 (first electric SUV).

The main attraction of the phenomenon will probably be Xring 01 chip, which again enters the mobile SoC space of Xiaomi. This new chip is expected to provide electricity to the upcoming Xiaomi 15S Pro. The initial benchmark suggests that Xring 01 includes a 10-core CPU setup and an immortalis-G925 GPU. It has allegedly scored 3,119 in single-core and 9,673 in multi-core gekbench tests, placed in the same league as the top-end chips such as Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite and MediaTek’s Demistance 9400.

Xiaomi’s return to chip development is not a once attempt. Xring 01 is part of a comprehensive 10-year plan which includes an investment of CNY 50 billion (about $ 6.9 billion or about Rs 59,246 crore). So far, the company has spent more than CNY 13.5 billion (about $ 1.9 billion or about Rs 15,998 crore) on Chip R&D.

In addition, the expectation of this phenomenon is Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra, a premium tablet featured a 14 -inch display with the support for 3.2K resolution and LTPO technology. The tablet is asked to come up with advanced multi-window features and can be operated by Snapdragon 8S General 4 chipset. Fast charging support up to 120W is also expected.

Finally, Xiaomi Yu7 will rap from its first electric SUV. The vehicle is expected to facilitate the Saturn ring-style tail-light and comes with double-motor options, offering peak power outputs up to 390 horsepower. It is said to measure 4999 mm x 1996 mm x 1600 mm in dimensions.
