Christmas came early and cozy in the Ghattamaneni family. Taking a short break from his busy shooting schedule, Mahesh Babu spent the festive day amidst family, warmth and twinkling lights in Hyderabad, giving fans a rare glimpse into his personal world.
On Friday, actor and former Miss India Namrata Shirodkar took to Instagram to share glimpses of their intimate Christmas celebration. Pictures showed the family gathering for a simple but joyous gathering, which was also attended by close friends and relatives.
One of the pictures shows Mahesh Babu posing with Namrata, her daughter Sitara Ghattamaneni and other family members in front of a glittering Christmas tree decorated with fairy lights. Keeping it casual, Mahesh opted for a red T-shirt with jeans, while Namrata chose a beautiful black ensemble. Meanwhile, the star added a festive touch in a bright red dress, which perfectly matched the holiday mood.
Sharing the moment on her Instagram Stories, Namrata captioned the group photo, “Big celebratory family.” She also posted several selfies from the evening with friends, giving followers a glimpse of the blissful, cozy atmosphere at home. Unsurprisingly, the post impressed fans and quickly made its way onto social media.
Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar have been married since February 2005. They are the parents of son Gautam, born in 2006, and daughter Sitara, born in 2012. Over the years, the couple has often shown fans snippets of their family gatherings, balancing stardom with grounded, relatable moments.
Talking about the work front, Mahesh Babu was last seen in a film released in 2024. Guntur KaramWhich got mixed response. The actor is currently shooting VaranasiDirected by SS Rajamouli, and also stars Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The first look of the film was released at a grand event in Hyderabad and it is planned to release in Sankranti 2027.
