Mahesh Babu has announced the first schedule of his upcoming SS Rajamouli film ‘Globetrotter’ to be held in Hyderabad on 15th November. The event will be livestreamed on JioHotstar.
After much anticipation, Mahesh Babu has released the first official announcement of his next film ‘SSMB29’ with SS Rajamouli, which has been tentatively titled ‘Globetrotter’. Sharing a video message on Saturday, the Telugu superstar announced that the first event for the film will be held in Hyderabad on November 15.
The ‘Globetrotter’ event will take place at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad from 6 pm onwards. The good news for fans is that the event will be livestreamed on JioHotstar.
In the video, Mahesh Babu can be heard saying, “For months you’ve been asking, and now the time has come. On November 15, the world will take its first step into our story. Experience what we are creating with all our hearts.” This video has been shared by Rajamouli’s son SS Karthikeya.

On Friday, 7 November, the film team released the first look of Prithviraj Sukumaran as Kumbha. Rajamouli also shared the poster on X, and described Sukumaran as one of the “finest actors” he has met. His caption read, “After doing the first shot with Prithvi, I went up to him and said you are one of the finest actors I have ever seen. It was very satisfying creatively to bring this sinister, ruthless, powerful rival Kumbha to life. Prithvi, thank you for sitting in his chair – literally (sic).”

Apart from Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran, Priyanka Chopra also plays the lead role in the film. ‘Globetrotter’ or ‘SSMB29’ is Rajamouli’s next big film after the massive success of ‘RRR’, which starred Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead roles. The team has not yet revealed the final title of the film.
