Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu has heaped praise on Dhanush’s second directorial venture ‘Raayan’. The ‘Guntur Karam’ actor recently watched ‘Raayan’ and called it ‘brilliantly directed and superbly acted’. He called it a ‘must watch’ and praised the entire cast. Apart from this, Mahesh Babu praised music composer AR Rahman and called it ‘electric’.

On 29 July, Mahesh Babu watched the film and congratulated the team on his official X account.

He wrote, “#Raayan … Superb acting by Dhanushkraja … Superb direction and performances. Superb performances by Suriya, Prakashraj, Suryadeepkishan and the entire cast. Written and directed by Dhanush, ‘Raayan’ is an action crime film that also depicts family bonds. This film is a special milestone for Dhanush as it is his second directorial venture and 50th film as a lead actor.

The film’s cast includes Dhanush, SJ Suryah, Prakash Raj, Selvaraghavan, Sandeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Dushara Vijayan, Aparna Balamurali and Saravanan in pivotal roles. Produced by Sun Pictures, the film has crossed the Rs 75 crore mark worldwide in just three days.
