July welcomed the two biggest releases in theaters, Siara and Mahavatar Narasimha. Ahaan Pandey and Siyara starring Eetty Padda, became a big success at the box office with their unprecedented runs. Meanwhile, Ashwin Kumar’s direction emerged as the highest -grossing animated film in India. Allegedly, the latter impressed the screen count of the Bollywood release. The manufacturers have opened up, saying that their success has no intention of snatching.
The producers of Mahavatar Narasimha talk about the success of the blockbuster film
According to Bollywood Hungama, the producers recently participated in the success of Mahavatar Narasimha at a temple in Mumbai. During a conversation, producer Chaluve Gowda was clear about the success of the blockbuster and what worked for the mythical animated film.
Gowda shared that while the story was not new, she received widespread praise for her animation. Talking about the nuances, the producer said that it was nothing short of a live-action film, especially in the last 20-25 minutes, which made the film different from other films based on the same subject.
Mahavatar Narasimha did not intend to remove the success of other films
At the event, producer Chaluve Gowda also addressed whether Mahavatar Narasimha thwarted the blockbuster run of Mohit Suri’s film, Siara. Talking about Ashwin Kumar’s direction, Gowda said that it was not just for children and the producers had “confidence” in the film.
“The intention was not to remove the success of other films. But the material was so good that it managed to run successfully,” he said. Without mentioning other releases, the producer of Mahavatar Narasimha also stressed that those films showed “slow trend” in the box office market.
Siara vs Mahavatar Narasimha’s performance
Built by the T-series, Seara was well obtained by the audience. Ahaan Pandey and Aetet Padda starrer made an outstanding inauguration at the box office. It crossed a mark of Rs 300 crore within three weeks of its release. On the other hand, Mahavatar Narasimha, who was released a week after Seara, was a late blue.
While the initial figures of homebell films were not as strong as strong, it later received immense traction through positive words-mouth. After his good speed, Mahavatar Narasimha began competing directly with Siara in the third week based on screen space and the attention of the audience.
