Maharashtra is witnessing an important day as voting for 288 assembly seats begins on Wednesday, November 20, 2024. As soon as voting began at 7 am, Bollywood stars including Akshay Kumar hurried to cast their votes. In a heartwarming video circulating online, Akshay is seen having an intense conversation with a senior citizen about toilet maintenance, capturing a candid moment from the election day.
In the viral video of the polling booth, Akshay Kumar is seen having a normal conversation with a senior citizen. When the senior citizen raised concerns about the maintenance of the toilet, the ‘Khel Khel Mein’ actor calmly assured him that he would handle it and readily agreed to hand over the box.
The senior citizen tried to handle the situation after seeing Jung, but he assured him that everything was already taken care of. With a light shrug, Akshay left the rest to BMC and casually ended the conversation.

After casting his vote, Akshay Kumar proudly showed his inked finger to the waiting paparazzi before talking to a senior citizen outside the polling booth. The actor also took the occasion to praise the Election Commission of India (ECI) for the excellent arrangements made at the centre, especially for senior citizens.
He spoke to the media praising the clean and well-organized system and encouraged everyone to vote, emphasizing its importance for the nation. “I can see that the arrangements for senior citizens are very good and cleanliness has been maintained,” he said.
