Malayalam Comedy Drama Maharani opened for mixed reviews when released at the box office. The audience highlighted how the film presents ridicule and humor without any significant thinking, provoking them not to find any rationality. Two years after its dramatic release, the film is now ready to make its debut on OTT.

The Queen will finally debut on OTT. The Malayalam comedy drama will start streaming on the Manorama Max platform from June 21.
Streaming giant demolished the official post on social media. Sharing the poster of the film, she wrote “Maharani | June 21 | Manoramax.”
Official trailer and queen’s plot
The story of the Queen is set against the background of a fictional village in Eleppi district of Kerala. The two heroes of the film Aj and Vizi are depicted as individuals who lack different ambitions in life.
However, despite all obstacles, both remained loyal and close friends who never fail to support each other. While Aji (played by Shine) expects allops with her girlfriend, Vizi desires a partner who will improve her financial position.
When Aji’s romantic interest Rani disappears, things flare up, and her family blamed two boys and her friends for being responsible for this. How Aji and Vizi finally get rid of their names in this way, while strict search for the queen becomes the climax of the film.

The Queen watched Roshan Matthew and Shine Tom Chacko in the lead roles. Others include Johnny Antony, Harisri Ashokan, Balu Varghese, Srimti Jayan, Kailash, and more.
The film is written by Rathesh Ravi and directed by G. Marthandan. Badusha Productions has supported the film, while Gopi Sundar and Govind Vasantha composed the music score.
