In a conversation with Touring Talkies, the director revealed that Vijay praised him for his excellent script. The director also revealed that the superstar was well aware of every detail of the film.

Talking about meeting Thalapathy Vijay, director Nithilan Swaminathan revealed how the actor highly praised the performances of Vijay Sethupathi and Singampuli.
Furthermore, the director also shared that he was quite nervous about meeting the superstar, saying, “When I got nervous, Thalapathy Vijay just smiled and told me to calm down, everything is fine.” Also, he told the actor how he had met him earlier during the Leo success event and even shook hands with him that day.

Talking about Maharaja movie, Vijay Sethupathi has played the lead role in this movie and he plays the role of a barber shop owner. The couple living alone with their only daughter has a special attachment to Lakshmi, a steel dustbin that saved Lakshmi’s life one day.
However, things change when the bin goes missing after the house is burglarized. Now, the man tries to seek the help of the police to find his lost bin, which leads to many more hidden details.
Apart from the Jawaan actor, the film also stars Anurag Kashyap, Mamta Mohandas, Natarajan Subramanyam, Abhirami Gopikumar, Singampuli, Aruldoss, Munishkanth and many others in pivotal roles.
