Recently, ‘Maharaja’ director Nithilan Saminathan met Rajinikanth. After the meeting, the director wrote an emotional note in which he expressed his deep admiration for the superstar.
Nithilan wrote on the x, “Dear Superstar @rajinikanth” Sir, thank you for this wonderful meeting. It was like reading a novel of life, experiences and understanding of the way of living from the golden hands of Kollywood.”
He continued, “I am overwhelmed by your hospitality and politeness. I am overwhelmed to know how much you loved the Maharaja…Thank you once again and long live Thalaivar.”
‘Maharaja’ is a gripping revenge drama, which marks Sethupathi’s 50th film. The film showcases his exceptional acting skills as he plays a complex character seeking revenge.
Directed by Nithilan Swaminathan, the film also stars Anurag Kashyap, Mamta Mohandas and others. The film released on June 14 and is now available to stream on Netflix.
