Sivakartheikeyan’s crime action drama, Madharsi, is watching a weak run at the box office. Although the film has recorded a spike in the second weekend, it remains below expectations. Directed by AR Murugados, the film began with Rs 12.30 crore, which was a good start at the Tamil box office. However, it could not catch the speed and the witness of the trajectory began from the second day itself.

Vidyartha Jammwal and Rukmini Vasant’s co-conclusion, Madharasi grossed Rs 51.80 crore at the Tamil box office on their initial week. It entered the second weekend and saw a nominal spike.

Madharasi earned Rs 2.45 crore in his second weekend on Friday, followed by a nominal jump of 30 percent on Saturday, where it collected Rs 3.50 crore. Estimates show that the film has recorded another jump and today on its second Sunday, Tally added Rs 3.70 crore.

Madharsi’s total box office collection has crossed a mark of Rs 60 crore and now it has grossed Rs 61.45 crore in Tamil Nadu.

Mounted on a medium budget, Madharasi needs to create a strong grip in the weeks of the week to raise through a favorable dramatic end. So far this trend has reduced, which has almost sealed the fate of its box office. It will be interesting to see how far the film can go from here.
