Madha Gaja Raja starring Vishal, Anjali, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar and Santhanam has completed 10 days of release. The long-delayed action comedy Tamil Nadu is performing very well at the box office.
Madha Gaj Raja earns Rs 1 crore on 10th day; around Rs 50 crore
Backed by Gemini Film Circuit, Madha Gaja Raja added Rs 1 crore to the tally on its 10th day, taking the total to just under Rs 45 crore. Currently, its total earning in Tamil Nadu is Rs 44.60 crore. The film will cross the Rs 45 crore mark tomorrow and then move towards the magical figure of Rs 50 crore.
Let us tell you, this film starring Vishal was earlier scheduled to release in 2013. However, it could not see its release day due to some financial and legal issues. Twelve years later, the film got the vacant Pongal release slot due to the postponement of Ajith Kumar’s Vidamuyarchi. And the rest is history!
Madha Gaja Raja aims to earn Rs 55 crore in Tamil Nadu
This film directed by Sundar C will continue to attract the audience for a few weeks. The next big release in Tamil Nadu will be VidaaMuyarchi on 6 February. It will be interesting to see whether the old action-comedy can last till then or not.
Looking at its current trends, the film is expected to end its theatrical run at the Kollywood box office between Rs 52 crore and Rs 55 crore.
