Sivakartheikeyan thrilled his fans with recently leaving their jaw and saw the rub in the teaser of his upcoming film Madarasi. The film is one of the most anticipated projects of the actor, marking his first cooperation with director AR Murugdos. However, it is now being reported that Madarasi was not the first option of title for the film.
According to the report of 123 Telugu, the producers of the film were initially considering for their project on the name Hunter, as they felt that it was suitable for the subject of the film. However, it was Shivarathakayan, who allowed him to go for Rajinikanth for his deep respect.
For bin calling, last year Rajinikanth’s film Wettayan was released in theaters. The title Vettaiyan translates into Hunter in Tamil. As a result, SK did not desire to counter the situation for the same name.
Later, it was AR Murugados, who finalized the Madarasi name, which is a common terminology used by Northern Indians to refer to the people of the southern states of the country.
In an interview with Toi, opening about Ar Murugadoss, explained, “The story opens from the vessels of the characters in North India. Madarashi is a word that uses many northern Indians to refer to a South Indian. ,
In the same interview, the director also revealed a major detail about the film, comparing it to his other hit films, Ghajini and Thuppaki.
Well, AR Murugadoss reported that like the major characters of these two other films, they had a unique element (Memory Los and Sleeper Sale, respectively), would also have another feature in the role of SK in Madarasi.
