Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt presents a biopic on dancer Sapna Choudhary titled ‘Madam Sapna’. The film will take the audience through Sapna’s life journey – from the streets of Haryana to the prestigious stages of Cannes, tracing the rise of a small town girl who became a national sensation.

‘Madam Sapna’ showcases the incredible story of Sapna Choudhary, who faced many challenges to become a sensation. She survived a suicide attempt and a fatal gunshot wound and is now ready to open up her life to her fans.

The film will trace Sapna’s journey, from her humble beginnings to her time in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house and beyond. More details about who will play Sapna will be revealed later. The script and shooting of the film will begin soon.

In 2023, Sapna will be making her Cannes debut. Talking about her debut, she said, “Cannes is not just a dream but a lifelong dream for any actress/actor, and I am thankful to God that I am able to reach this stage today, moreover I don’t know English or any international language, I am a proud Indian standing in Cannes for my country and my state Haryana. The people at Air France are very generous and accepting, I think acceptance is the biggest step towards change and humanity!”

Talking about her dream of walking the red carpet Sapna said, “It was an incredible experience to debut at the Cannes Film Festival. It was a surreal experience to walk the red carpet. The atmosphere was great and I was thrilled to be there with so many other talented artistes from across the world.”
