The trailer of Rajkumar Rao’s film ‘Malik’ was unveiled on Tuesday. The thriller is packed with heavy charges, action sequences and strong performances.

In the trailer, the actor appears in an avatar never seen as a cold -blooded gangster. He commands every frame with his rugged look and action moves.

Rao’s dialogue, “Maalik paya nahi hue to kya, bann toh sakte hain (What if I am not born of a owner, I can become one), is the essence of the “owner”. Thus chases a cat-and mouse between the police and the prince’s character, his complex relationship with his father and his hunger for political power.

Manushi Chiller plays the role of a wife supporting her husband (played by Rao) through a thick and thin. Meanwhile, Saurabh Shukla is seen playing the role of a difficult father. It will be interesting to see how these two relationships play in the film.

The film has also played an important role in Saurabh Sachdeva. The set in Allahabad of the 1980s investigates the world governed by the film gun, greed and loyalty.

‘Maalik’ is a symbol of director Pulkit’s first dramatic release. The film is produced with Tips Films Banner, Northern Lights with films. ‘Malik’ has been slated to release in theaters on 11 July 2025.
