The absence of Sonakshi Sinha’s brothers Luv Sinha and Kush Sinha at her wedding has caught everyone’s attention. Their absence has led to speculations that there might be a rift between the two siblings due to the ‘Dabangg’ actress’ decision to marry her long-time boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal.

When Hindustan Times asked Sonakshi’s brother Luv about the controversy, he didn’t dodge the question and didn’t even deny the rumours. “Please give me a day or two. I will answer your question if I feel I can. Thanks for asking,” he said when asked about the reason behind his absence.

According to the publication, a source close to the family confirmed their absence from the festivities, saying, “Sonakshi’s parents attended the wedding, and were naturally excited about the day. However, her brother did not make it to the wedding and reception. Photographers did not spot the two entering the venue, until the very end. And everyone found this really odd”

On the other hand, Sonakshi’s close friend and actor Saqib Saleem played the role of her brother at her wedding. A heartwarming video shows the actor walking under the traditional ‘phool ki chaadar’, a flower umbrella carried by his friends, one end of which is held by Saqib. Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam also attended the wedding.

Many stars including Salman Khan, Siddharth, Aditi Rao Hydari, Kajol, Aditya Roy Kapur attended the wedding reception held at Bastian.
