Lucky Baskar starring Dulquer Salmaan was released in theaters on October 31, 2024 and later emerged as a huge success at the box-office. Now it seems that a sequel to this film can be made.
Is Dulquer Salmaan’s Lucky Baskar 2 coming?
According to a report in Rangasthalam, a sequel to Dulquer Salmaan’s film Lucky Baskar is going to be made. The film will serve as a sequel to the first installment and is expected to be made on a larger scale. However, this remains speculation as of now, as neither the actor nor the makers have made any official announcement.
Interestingly, the 2024 film ends with DQ’s character Bashkhar flying to the United States while the CBI is still on the lookout for him and having betrayed everyone for the last time. If the report turns out to be true then the entertaining and exciting cat-and-mouse sequence can begin once again.
About Lucky Baskar
For those unfamiliar, Lucky Baskar is a black comedy crime drama starring Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role. The film tells the story of Bashkhar, a lower-middle-class bank cashier who is trapped in a never-ending cycle of financial crisis.
Fed up with the system, Baskhar resorts to financial scams by withdrawing money from the bank where he works. As his lifestyle and standard of living increases, Baskar becomes increasingly arrogant and eventually becomes a suspect in financial crimes.
How the man uses his clever wit to successfully survive every challenge life throws at him, and whether he ultimately succeeds, is the heart of the film.
