K-pop group Seventeen released their 12th mini-album, Spill the Feels, on October 14. The music video for the title track – Love, Money, Fame – also features Grammy-winning producer DJ Khaled. The album has already attracted considerable attention, with over 3.4 million pre-orders recorded ahead of its release.
The lead single, Lover, Money, Fame (feat. DJ Khaled), is an R&B/hip-hop track that examines the balance between love, money, and fame. The accompanying music video complements the song’s themes by providing a visual narrative that reflects each member’s unique perspective on love. Through a series of vignettes, viewers are shown various scenarios that highlight the joys and struggles of romantic relationships. Each member’s story offers a glimpse into their emotional world, reinforcing the idea that honest communication is vital to maintaining meaningful relationships.
The album has a total of six songs – Eyes on You, 1 to 13, Candy, Rain, Water, Love Money Fame.
Following the release of the album, Seventeen will embark on their Seventeen (Right Here) World Tour, which began on October 12 with two sold-out shows at Goyang Stadium in South Korea. The tour will include performances in 13 cities in the US, Japan and Asia, continuing into the next year.
