Love and War is one of the most awaited films of Bollywood. Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal started shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s mega film in 2024. Now he has resumed work in the new year. It is revealed that the lead actors have been filming dialogue-heavy and emotionally intense scenes.
As per a recent report in Midday, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal started a crucial schedule of Love & War on January 8, 2025 at Film City, Mumbai. The scenes in this schedule are said to be ’emotionally intense’ and very important to the story.
A source told the portal that there was a break in the shooting for a few days but now it has been resumed. It was revealed that key scenes would be filmed until January 11. Talking about Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s penchant for talkative parts, the source said, “Bhansali is known for his ability to craft dialogue-heavy scenes that connect deeply with the audience. This film will be no different.”
The report says that there will be a confrontational conversation between Ranbir, Alia and Vicky.
Love and War revolves around a love triangle and is set against the backdrop of war. Ranbir and Vicky were seen at the Air Force base during the preparation phase. The film is scheduled to release in theaters on March 20, 2026, during the long holidays of Ramzan, Ram Navami and Gudi Padwa.
Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt enjoyed New Year holidays in Thailand with their daughter Raha Kapoor. She was also accompanied by Neetu Kapoor, Soni Razdan, Shaheen Bhatt, Ayan Mukherjee, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and others. The group celebrated New Year’s Eve amid fireworks and later boarded a yacht and went for a walk.
Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif also moved out of Mumbai to ring in 2025.
