Vijay Devarakonda was recently seen with his mother Madhavi at Hyderabad Airport. The actor was leading prayer for Mahakumba. The video of his departure is going viral on social media.

Deeverakonda wore his signature attraction as he went to the airport. He looked attractive in a classic white oversized shirt and jeans, which he had accessed with a beige bean. He also covered his face with a face mask, and wore Rudraksha garland around his neck. His mother wore a pink salwar-suit and a dupatta. Here’s video:

The actor is expected to take a holy dip in the Mahakumba. He will join a host of actors and celebs who have already visited the holy site and have taken a dip. Most recently, KGF fame actor Srinidhi Shetty shared glimpses from his visit in Mahakumba And the holy dip.

He wrote, “It really feels that prayer called me. Because I did not know in the beginning or there were no plans, I was busy working, and then one thing led to another. Book my flights, I was here a backpack n here I was searching for routes among millions.

The Mahakumba Mela, an important Hindu festival, is held at four places every 12 years: Haridwar, Shragraj, Nashik and Ujjain. Devotees gather to bathe in holy rivers for spiritual purification. 2025 Mahakumba Mela is particularly especially because it is the culmination of 12 such Mahakumbas and is taking place from 13 January to 26 February after 144 years. The pilgrims will take the holy dips at the Triveni Sangam.
