Location Manager Guild International has revealed nomination for its 12th annual awards, with a studio among sinners and prominent contenders. The 2025 LMGI Awards will recognize the best in the work of the film, TV, advertisements and film commissions. The ceremony is scheduled on 23 August in Elie and Edath Broad Stage in Santa Monica, California.
What are LMGI Awards?
The LMGI Awards, officially called the location manager’s guild international award, celebrates the excellent and creative visual work done by the place professionals worldwide. These awards throw light on how to shape the art of storytelling on the screen of the real world. Location Manager Guild says that the award honors are “excellent and creative visual contributions by professionals in film, television, advertisements and film commissions are from all over the world.”
For the 2025 version, the organizers received the record numbers, each of which shows how locations increase the production value of films and shows.
Major film nomination in 2025
Sinners earned a nomination for outstanding places in a period feature film. The title of Warner Brothers Pictures stands with Apprentice, a full unknown, fly me to the moon, gladiator II and I am still in the variety here.
Another major contenders are Conclave. Focus features release is competing for outstanding places in a contemporary feature film. Other nominations of that category include Anora, a real pain, mission: Impossible – The Final Recking and Twisters.
In TV categories, the studio of Apple TV+submitted a nomination for excellent places in a contemporary television series. It is nominated with The Day of the Days of the Jail, Landman, The Last of US Season 2, Mobland and Slow Horse Season 4.
The 12th Annual LMGI Awards will be presented live on 23 August. The site, Elie and Adeath Broad Stage in Santa Monica, will host the top -ranked managers and filmmakers around the world.
In a statement, the location manager gild shared that this year’s incident highlighted how the place work ‘enriches the art of filmmaking’ and continues to inspire new levels of creativity in the industry.
