Loca manufacturer apologizes, to remove dialogue to communicate for Bangalore women

Duller Salman’s Waverr Films issued an apology to the people of Karnataka on a dialogue playing Bangalore women in ‘Loka Chapter 1: Chandra’. He also promised to remove the dialogue and expressed regret.

Dalkar Salman’s Vafarr Films apologized to the people of Karnataka for a special dialogue about Bangalore women.

Dalkar Salman, producer and head of Wafer Films, apologized to the people of Karnataka after facing a special dialogue in the Malayalam film, Bangalore women, ‘Loca Chapter 1: Chandra’ for a special dialogue. The production house expressed regret and promised to remove the dialogue from the film.

On Tuesday, the production house shared a statement in which it was read, “It has come to our attention that a dialogue given by a vessel in our film Loca: Chapter one has spontaneously hurt the feelings of the people of Karnataka.”

In the film, Inspector Nachiappa Gowda (starring choreographer Sandy) says he does not want to marry women from Bengaluru, calling him “characterless”. Sandy’s Gowda is a wrong officer who is also shown moral-police in the film.

The statement further read, “In Vafarr Films, we keep people above the rest. We regret this inspection deeply and assure you that there was no crime. The question in question will be removed as soon as possible.

Not only the dialogue, ‘Loca’ has landed in another controversy as social media users reported that Bengaluru is shown in a bad light in the film. Users mentioned that Bengaluru is depicted as ‘the center of parties and drugs’.

On 2 September, Bangalore Police Commissioner Cement Kumar Singh said that concerns would be seen by the Central Crime Branch (CCB) social media monitoring cell. He also warned that action would be taken if any violation is found.

‘Loca Chapter 1: Chandra’ is running successfully across the country. The film grossed Rs 30 crore at the domestic box office. The superhero film directed by Dominic Arun includes Kalyani Priyadarshan, Naslen, Sandy and many other important roles.
