Blackpink member Lisa has had a successful solo career and her latest hit single ‘Rockstar’ is another milestone in her success. Lisa released the single under her new label, LLoud. In a recent interview, the musician assured fans that while the members are focusing on solo endeavors, Blackpink will undoubtedly continue and remain as one.

When asked if working solo inevitably means the end of the group, as many fans around the world have speculated, Lisa insisted that she is proud of Blackpink and that they will continue it. She said, “Of course we will continue it, of course. We are very proud of Blackpink and I love Blackpink. It’s not just because of our fans, it’s for us. There was no doubt about it. It’s our life.”

Meanwhile, on the personal front, Lisa will be making her acting debut with the Thailand-based film ‘The White Lotus’.

The show, produced by Mike White, will be filmed in Bangkok and the islands of Phuket and Koh Samui. Lisa described it as “a welcome opportunity to come back home and eat Thai food every day”.

Speaking of her latest single ‘Rockstar’, the song is nominated in four categories at the upcoming Video Music Awards, including Best K-Pop, Best Choreography, and Best Editing.
