Liliput compared SRK’s acting to zero to Kamal Haasan: Not even dust on his feet

Actor Liliput recently shared his views on Anand L. Rai’s ‘Zero’ (2018), depicting a hero with dwarfness. He criticized the portrayal of actor Shah Rukh Khan in the film, while his performance was compared to actor Kamal Haasan’s acting ‘Appu Raja (1989).
In an interview with Red FM podcastLiliput said, “Whoever is not blind, will do the same thing as they are blind, but for a person who is not a dwarf, how will you work like a dwarf? Because dwarfs are normal, their hand actions are normal, they laugh and think like someone else, they only look a different way. So how will you work?
“We know that you look good and cute, so our impression that you are there.
Drawing similarities between Khan and Haasan’s performance in ‘zero’ and ‘Appu Raja’ respectively, the actor of ‘Mirzapur 3’ said, “You look at the wisdom of Appu Raja. Kamal Haasan has removed the materiality of a dwarf person.
