  • – Put moong dal in a pressure cooker and fry it until it turns golden.
  • Now add cumin, black pepper, ginger, green chilli, curry leaves, tomato, grated coconut and water.
  • Pressure cook it for 3 whistles, so that the pressure releases on its own.
  • Add water and beat well to get a homogeneous consistency.
  • Squeeze a whole lemon and add freshly chopped coriander.
  • Pour this dal over hot medu vadas and garnish with coriander.
