Looking at their fun and beautiful photos, if you too are craving a vacation and feel inspired to pack your bags and book a trip to the Daintree Rainforest, here are five activities you must do:
Dive into the crystal-clear waters of one of the world’s most famous reefs. The Great Barrier Reef is home to colourful corals and diverse marine life, including tropical fish, sea turtles and the occasional reef shark.
Wander along well-maintained paths through lush, ancient rainforest. The Daintree is home to a diversity of flora and fauna, some of which cannot be found anywhere else in the world.
This place is a hotspot for wildlife lovers. Keep an eye out for cassowaries, which are large, flightless birds native to the region. Other animals include tree kangaroos, sugar gliders, and a variety of reptiles and amphibians.
Take a serene boat ride along the Daintree River, which offers a unique view of the rainforest and its wildlife. You may spot crocodiles sunbathing on the banks, colourful kingfishers on the water, and other wildlife along the river. The cruise is a relaxing way to experience the natural beauty of the forest.
Visit the pristine beaches of Cape Tribulation, where the rainforest meets the reef. These beaches are known for their stunning beauty, with white sand, clear blue water and lush green backdrops. It's a great place for swimming, sunbathing or simply relaxing with a book.
