Liam Payne’s former partner Maya Henry has reacted following the shocking death of the former One Direction band member, who has died aged 31. Payne reportedly fell from a suite balcony at a hotel in Argentina. This comes just days after Henry filed a lawsuit against the singer accusing him of psychological abuse and harassment.
Henry’s representative told the Daily Mail, “He is clearly in shock.”
Payne was in Buenos Aires to support his former bandmate Niall Horan in concert. He apparently fell from the third floor of the Hotel Casasur, located in Palermo.
This incident occurred just after the legal dispute between Henry and the 1D star began. According to The Sun, just two days before the incident occurred, Henry’s lawyers sent a cease and desist order letter because Payne had continued to contact her and her family after their separation, leading to her Was very worried.
In that lawsuit, Henry accused Payne of various abusive behaviors, details of which he broadcast through one of his popular videos on TikTok. In the video, she accused Payne of contacting her through various phone numbers and also through iCloud and suggested that he used the goodwill of his followers to cover up activities that were not appropriate for him.
“Ever since we broke up, he’s been texting me, blowing up my phone, always from different phone numbers,” Henry revealed in the video.
She claimed, “He will create new iCloud accounts just to send me messages. He’s the one who is constantly doing weird things. She says he preys on One Direction fans because they will always be loyal to him and they Will not tell about.” ,
After three years of dating with a gap, their relationship ended in May 2022. Henry, the daughter of attorney Thomas J. Henry, has now accused Payne of bullying not only her but the entire family. This was also confirmed by the legal team of Marco Crawford and Daniel Serna, who represented them, saying that the cease-and-desist letter was issued shortly after other related information came to light.
