Legal immigration system in America has collapsed: Vivek Ramaswamy

President-elect Donald Trump’s top Indian-American aide Vivek Ramaswamy has expressed his support for a mass deportation plan of illegal immigrants and said the legal immigration system in the country is “broken”.

He said that people who broke the law when entering the United States have no right to stay here and need to leave.

“Do we have a broken legal immigration system? Yes, we do. But I think the first step would be to restore the rule of law, to do it in a very practical way,” the entrepreneur-turned-politician told ABC News. ” an interview.

“Those who have come in the last few years have not put down roots in the country. Those who have committed crimes should be out of this country. That means in millions. That would be the single largest mass deportation. Combine this with ending government assistance for all illegals. You see self-deportation,” he said.

Ramaswamy appeared on several Sunday talk shows, the first following Donald Trump’s landslide victory in the November 5 presidential elections. He told ABC News that he is having some “high impact” discussions on the party’s administration, his future role in Congress.

From being Trump’s opponent during the Republican primaries, Ramaswamy has emerged as a staunch supporter and confidant of Trump.

“I think he cares about uniting the country. I think that’s Donald Trump’s main focus. I think we have to get back to a place after this election after that decisive victory, which I think was a gift to the country, get back to a place where ordinary Americans who did not care about their family members or their Voting must have taken place separately among colleagues. Or their neighbors, to be able to come together at the dinner table and say, at the end of this we are still Americans, that’s very much Donald Trump’s headspace,” he said.

“He’s learned a lot from that first term as well, and I think he’s going to take some things to new heights in this second term as well that he wasn’t able to achieve in the first term, which I think That there is going to be a good thing,” Ramaswamy said.

The Republican Party is now a multi-racial working class coalition, he said. “You looked at black voters, Hispanic voters, young voters. He was very big. A very young creation of the Republican primary base came together on basic principles that were not really beholden to old Republican orthodoxies, but principles like free speech, anti-censorship, meritocracy, and staying out of World War III. “These are some of the common threads that bring together a very diverse and broad tent coalition to restore those basic constitutional principles,” he said.

“Here’s a big one. And Donald Trump talked about the deep state for a long time. But the idea of restoring self-rule is big in this new alliance. Ramaswamy said, the idea that the people we elect to run the government have not actually been running the government for a very long time.

“Donald Trump is going to be the President of the United States in the real sense of the word. A capital P President where he’s actually making decisions with the democratic will of the people behind him, not with the unelected bureaucratic class beneath him, ” said the Indian American.

“This is something that unites a common thread from former Democrats to independents, libertarians and of course traditional Republicans. I think that’s a common thread that unites us,” he said.

He said, Trump’s focus is on how to make people’s lives better. “And really, my message to the Democrats out there, even to those who didn’t vote for Donald Trump, is to really give them a chance to better their lives. Many people across the country, even those who have heard some false things about Donald Trump, will be pleasantly surprised to have more money in their paychecks, lower prices across the country, and a secure border. These are things most Americans really care about,” Ramaswami said.
