Lebanon has banned Disney’s upcoming live-action film ‘Snow White’ from screening in theaters, causing the casting of Israeli actress Gall Gadot, who plays the role of a wicked queen.
The decision was issued by the internal minister of Lebanon, Ahmed al-Hazar. According to local media reports, the step follows the recommendations of the country’s film and media overseas body. Action took place amidst Israeli military operations targeting Hizbullah posts in Lebanon, resulting in citizens casualties.
