Lava Yuva Smart 2 launch, big screen and 5,000mAh battery for Rs 6,099
Lava has launched a budget smartphone with a 5,000mAh battery, a budget smartphone with a 13-megapixel dual rear-camera setup, Yuva Smart 2, which means completing the young audience.

Lava has announced a new budget device. Lava Yuva Smart 2 is the successor of the original youth smart. The handset brings some decent characteristics while targeting the inexpensive section.
Lava Yuva Smart 2 comes with a glass back design, something that is unusual in the budget smartphone. Young Smart 1 had a polycarbonate back panel. Smart 2 comes in two colors, crystal blue and crystal gold.
Yuva Smart 2 Unisoc 9863A is powered by an entry-level octa-core processor. Lava claims that the handset can easily manage everyday tasks. However, it does not support 5G. The phone comes with 3GB RAM and 3GB virtual RAM.
Smart 2 has a 6.75 -inch HD+ IPS LCD display, with a fresh rate of 90Hz, upgraded to 60Hz in Yuva 1.
The battery remains unchanged with a capacity of 5,000mAh. The phone supports 10W charging via USB Type-C.
Lava Youth Smart 2 13-megapixel AI comes with dual rear camera set-up. The camera comes with various mode like night, HDR and time laps. The front camera is a 5-megapixel sensor. This is probably the same set-up as its predecessor.
Smart 2 goes out of the box on Android 15 Go Edition. Lava claims that the device provides a clean, blotware-free experience. Budget Android handsets have been infamous for advertisements and blotware.
The company has not given details about the OS update for Young Smart 2. Smart 1 has not received any major OS updates yet. However, according to the official website of Lava, it provides at least 2 years of safety patch to its devices.

Young Smart 2 comes in the same version with 3 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. The device is priced at Rs 6,099. This is an increase of Rs 99 from the launch price of Smart 1.
Lava youth provides free service at home for Smart 2 Pan India. Customers can also take the device to any lava retail outlet for assistance. The company claims that the device will be an attractive offer for smartphone users for the first time.
