Lava has launched Bold N2 in India. It is a budget smartphone and is the successor to the Lava Bold N1 launched last year. Bold N2 comes with 5000 mAh battery and 13 megapixel primary camera. The phone will be sold in the country on Amazon on February 27.
The Lava Bold N2 comes after the launch of another budget offering, the Lava Yuva 3, which debuted just last week.
Lava Bold N2 design, specs and features
The Bold N2 features a square camera module at the back with two cut-out lenses. The flat-framed device has a water drop notch on the front, which houses the selfie camera.
Running on Android 15 Go, the Bold N2 promises a clutter-free experience with no bloatware or ads. It features a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
On the photography front, the Bold N2 sports a dual rear camera setup led by a 13-megapixel primary sensor. It is equipped with a 5 megapixel front camera. A 5,000mAh battery keeps the lights on, while the side-mounted fingerprint scanner adds a layer of security.
In terms of processor, the Bold N2 is powered by an octa-core Unisoc SC9863A chipset. It has an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. The handset comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, with virtual RAM expansion support that allows you to expand it up to an additional 4GB.

Lava Bold N2 price in India has been set at Rs 7,499 for a single configuration, which comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The phone will be available in two color variants: Indus Black and Siachen White. The sale of the phone is going to start exclusively on Amazon on February 27.
If you are a Bold N1 user, you might find some compelling reasons to switch to the Bold N2 as the Lava Bold N2 appears to have more or less the same features as its predecessors.
The Lava Bold N1 is also powered by the same Unisoc SC9863A chipset paired with 4GB of RAM. It features a 6.74-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. On the camera front, the dual rear setup is powered by a 13-megapixel primary sensor, while a 5-megapixel front camera handles selfies. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery charged via USB Type-C. In terms of storage, the phone offers 64GB of internal space, which is expandable up to 256GB.
