Nikon Nikkor Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S II Lens
Are you looking for a powerful new lens for your Nikon camera? Then check out the all-new NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S II, a fast telephoto zoom designed for full-frame Z-series mirrorless cameras. The lens covers the popular 70-200mm focal range with a constant f/2.8 aperture and, at just 998g (without tripod collar), Nikon says it is the lightest in its category. It is the first NIKKOR lens to directly support Arca-Swiss screw-type quick-release tripod heads, making mounting and dismounting from a tripod quick for photographers shooting sports or events.
Nikon has reworked both the optics and internal mechanisms, reducing the weight by about 26 percent compared to the older version launched in 2020. The lens uses the new Silky Swift VCM autofocus system to deliver faster AF and better tracking when zooming. It offers up to six stops of vibration reduction with compatible cameras, has an internal zoom design that keeps the lens length constant, supports a minimum focus distance of 0.38 meters at the wide end, and works with Nikon’s 1.4x and 2.0x Z teleconverters.
In terms of price, the NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S II will be available on sale from the third week of March 2026 at an MRP of Rs 2,89,995. It will be available at Nikon outlets in India.
