Black Sabbath completed his prestigious story on Saturday, July 5, with a large -scale one day concert back to Villa Park in Birmingham. The special shows of Ozi Osbourne, Tony Iomi, Geyser Butler and Bill Ward marked the final performance of the legendary band in their hometown, where heavy metal was born.
More than 45,000 fans filled the home ground of Aston Villa FC to celebrate the last stand of Black Sabbath. According to Billboard, the incident that donated all income to charity such as Birmingham Children Hospital honored the impact of the band and gave fans a final chance to see the original lineup together.

Mastodon set tone with ‘Supernut’
The American Heavyweight Mastodon opened the show with a powerful cover of Black Sabbath’s supernatant. The drummer Bran Deller stepped into the lead vocals and gave a demonstration that was perfect for Ozi’s raw energy. Members and tools of Gojira add additional collision to the closing, which establish a mood for a day filled with collaboration and tribute.

The extreme guitarist Nuno Bettcort spent more time on stage than any other artist appearing in various supergroup sets. He worked with the drummer II of Sleep tokens and Yungblust for a hearty cover of Sabbath changes. Sharon Osbourne was seen in tears during the song, which felt deeply individual due to the version of Ozi and Kelly Osborne.

Metalica kept the energy elevated with her set, which opens with holes in the sky before going into classics such as creeping deaths and master’s master. The band showed no signs of slowing down the Villa Park with Robert Truzilo’s signature moves and Larse Ulrich’s powerful drumming.
