In the interview, Lady Gaga revealed that Michael proposed to her a day after they went rock climbing. She said, “I’ve never met anyone like Michael. He’s so smart and so kind. And his life and my life are so different. He’s a very private person and he’s not with me for any other reason than we’re right for each other. But I guess I want my fans to know that I’m very happy.” About their meeting, she said, “My mom met him and she said to me, ‘I think I just met your husband,’ and I said, ‘I’m not ready to meet my husband!’ I never would have thought that my mom had found…the perfect person for me?”
