Lady Gaga remembers the psychosis diagnosis and felt ‘shame’ to talk about it
In an interview, singer Lady Gaga discussed her personal struggles that kept her away from music. He shared insight into his mental health journey, diagnosing psychosis and support of his partner, Michael Poolnsky.

In a clear conversation, pop star Lady Gaga shared the insight into her much awaited comeback in music with her new album, Meheme. The singer opened up about personal conflicts and mental health challenges, inspired him to retreat from the music scene. Gaga discovered psychosis, which greatly influenced her life. After years of effort, she managed to regain her leg.
He discussed during this Interview Podcast by The New York TimesHe said, “(Five years ago), I had psychosis. I was not in touch with reality for some time. It put me out of life on a large scale, and after many years of hard work, I returned myself.”
During this difficult time, Gaga met her longer partner Michael Polesky, which she is now engaged. She described her meeting as a special moment in her life, when she started recovering.
He continued, “It was a difficult time, and it was really special when I met my partner, because when I met Michael, I was in a better place, but I remember that he was telling me, ‘very soon,’ I know that you can be very happy with him. It was really difficult for me to hear because I didn’t want him to think together.”
The initial observation of her ability for Poolnsky’s greater pleasure was difficult for Gaga, as she wanted to appear as a happy and composed person.
Expressing the challenges of discussing her mental health conflicts, Gaga said that she dislikes the dislikes defined by her and feels a feeling of shame. The 38 -year -old said, “This is something that I have found to be rapidly difficult to talk. I hate to feel defined by it. It felt that I have felt something like this. But I don’t think we should feel ashamed if we pass that way.
However, she emphasized that there is no need to feel ashamed to feel such time, and she hopes that things could be better, as they did for her.
Gaga admitted that, despite the previous difficulties, he is now in a better place, the presence of Poolnsky is a wonderful addition to his life. “From the moment I met Michael, from the time, he had the hottest and kind nature that I probably met throughout my life”, he shared.
Lady Gaga’s new album Meheme marked her much awaited return. According to the Billboard Philippines, Gaga described the project as a journey through her fear and self-kings. He revealed that the devastation “started as me, when I faced fear of returning to pop music, who loved my early fans.” 14-time Grammy and one-time Oscar winner’s 14-track album also marked his return to his dark pop music routes.
