Malayalam Movie L2: Ampuran, who is directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and starring superstar Mohanlal in the lead role, is working at the box office these days. The very loving political action drama has proved to be a blockbuster at the box office.
L2: Empuraan continues the stronghold; 3 crore rupees at 11 days 11
Aashirvad Cinemas, obtained by L2: Empuran opened at the Kerala box office for a historic opening on its release. The film saw the word and shrieks ahead and became the fastest Malayalam film to make outposts of more than Rs 50 crore in just 5 days.
The film continued its brilliant run ahead and added 23 crore rupees from day 6 to day 10. According to estimates, the political action drama earned another 3 crore rupees on 2 Sundays (Day 11), which took a total of Rs 79 crore at the box office worldwide.
It will dominate the box office for a few days till the end of the next week. To make some names, Mammoti’s Bazuka, Ajit Kumar’s Good Bed Ugly, Basil Joseph’s Marana Mass, and Alpuja Gymkhana of Naslean are releasing on 10 April.
If the film continues well in the next few weeks, it can potentially hit a mark of Rs 100 crore at the Kerala box office.
