L2 Emperan, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and starring Mohanlal in the lead role, today enters its third week. Despite the release of four new films, the political action drama saw a good hold. However, it faced a large -scale dent in the count of its show, which could affect its box office capacity in Kerala.
L2 Empuraan enters 35 weeks between Rs 35 lakh for Rs 35 lakh
Mohanlal starrer added Rs 35 lakh to Tally at 14 days 14 days from 390 shows across the state. The total cume of L2 Empuraan has reached Rs 81.35 crore at the Kerala box office. Given a major decline in its collection, the film may soon end its dramatic run.
Although the film has nothing to lose, it would have crossed the #1 place in Kerala by crossing the Lifetime Box Office Collections of Towino Thomas 2018 if it was a clear run in the third week. Nevertheless, Prithviraj Sukumaran direction turned out to be a historic blockbuster and placed Malayalam cinema on a global map.
